This page describes the installation of the Battery vision top pack and the Battery vision packs.
Table of contents

    Installing the battery

Observe all Safety Instructions and requirements for the installer.

Observe the Specifications for the installation location and the maximum and minimum installation distances for the inverter, meter and battery.

Observe the Information on the scope of delivery for the inverter, meter and battery.

Observe the Information on Dimensioning of the system.

    Video assembly Battery vision
    • Screw four feet (included in the scope of delivery of the top pack!) to the lowest battery module Battery vision top pack (hereinafter referred to as pack)
    • Position the pack, LED on the left-hand side of the pack
    • Adjust the feet to the required height
Align Battery pack (LED on left), screw on feet
    • Align the battery module straight using a plumb line
    • Check the distance to the wall (approx. 38 mm) before the entire battery tower is stacked
Check the wall clearance before the entire battery tower is stacked
    • Insert the jumper plug (included in the scope of delivery of the top pack) into the connection socket at the bottom of the bottom pack and allow it to engage audibly
    Fitting the jumper plug
    • Stacking battery modules
    • Stack the top pack last
    Stacking Battery packs
    • secure each battery module on both sides with fixing screws (included in the scope of delivery)
Fix each Battery pack on both sides
    • Attach the wall bracket (included in the scope of delivery) to the top pack
    • Make markings on the wall, drill fixing holes
    • Attach the top pack to the wall on both sides using the two wall brackets
Fix the battery to the wall with 2 wall brackets

    Connecting the grounding

The Battery packs are connected to each other in the battery tower on the earth side via the connector. The top pack must be safely earthed to the house installation via the earth connection.

Earthing cables and additional cable lugs are included in the scope of delivery of the Battery vision top pack.

    Danger

    Risk of personal injury

Check that the battery tower is safely grounded. Otherwise there is a risk of personal injury.

    Danger

    Danger to life

Only carry out cable installation when the appliance is switched off. There is a risk to life if the grounding is not connected correctly!

    Danger to life

    Observe the 5 safety rules!

    Optional: Cable cover

If a cable cover was ordered:

    • Insert the BMS and battery cables (coming from the inverter) into the side of the cable cover

    Connecting the BMS cable

    • Connect the BMS cable (coming from the inverter) to the BMS connection of the top pack (RJ45 outdoor plug)
    • Tighten the mechanical strain relief (outdoor seal at the same time)

    Connecting the battery cable

    • Press the battery cable (coming from the inverter) into the holes for mechanical strain relief on the top pack
    • Connect the battery cable to the BAT+ and BAT connection on the top pack battery module

    Note

Reverse polarity protection against incorrect connection of the cables is provided by Pokajoke plugs on the connections and cables.

    Optional: Cable cover

    • Close the cap and snap it into place
