Dresden, Germany - The grass court tournament in Bad Homburg in the Hochtaunuskreis district is a renowned preparatory tournament for the Wimbledon Championships, the oldest and most prestigious tennis tournament in the world. Since 2021, the elite in women's tennis have come together annually in Kurpark Bad Homburg to fight for victory at this tournament. The Bad Homburg Open powered by Solarwatt will take place this year from 22 to 29 June.

Solarwatt presents premium solutions for homeowners.

In line with the mission "Shaping the future - together towards a better tomorrow", tournament director Aljoscha Thron is delighted to have Solarwatt as a strong presenting partner: "With Solarwatt as a pioneer in the field of solar energy and photovoltaics, we know we have the perfect partner at our side to tackle the many challenges involved in planning and implementing a sustainable event with vigour." As part of the upcoming tournament, it is now planned to reach the next level of sustainability together with Solarwatt.

Specifically, the photovoltaic modules from Solarwatt that will be installed on the tennis court in the coming years will ensure that the energy efficiency of the tournament week is significantly increased.
