Delivering our vision: SOLARWATT Battery vision has arrived!

Our team has been eagerly anticipating this milestone, and we’re thrilled to announce that the battery storage system has now arrived in large quantities at our logistics warehouse in Radeberg. It will now be distributed to customers across 20 European countries, alongside the SOLARWATT Inverter vision.

According to Chief Product Officer, Peter Bachmann, the SOLARWATT Battery vision: "along with the rest of our new vision portfolio – has been incredibly well received by both our installation partners and end customers, and we can't wait to see it powering up homes throughout Europe in the coming weeks"

Our latest battery storage system is packed with cutting-edge features:

• Modular Design – Available in capacities ranging from 5.2 kWh to 182 kWh, allowing for flexible and scalable energy storage.
• Hybrid DC or AC-coupled system – Offering solutions for different energy needs and system configurations.
• Uncompromising Safety – The system meets the highest safety standards and is fully compliant with upcoming EU battery regulations.
• Innovative Design – Developed in collaboration with Designworks, a BMW Group Company, ensuring a sleek and modern aesthetic.
• Smart Energy Management – The storage system stores self-generated solar power and can also store energy from the power grid when electricity prices are particularly low, maximising cost savings.

By integrating the SOLARWATT Battery Vision with our SOLARWATT Manager, customers can make big savings on their energy costs. 

This is done through the smart monitoring, management, and optimisation of household consumers to maximise the use of clean, cheap solar power. Customers are able to optimise at the time of use to minimise the import of grid energy when prices are high, utilising market energy price data or a zone-based tariff to reduce their energy bills.
