19.03.2024: Partial failure of remote access to the SOLARWATT EnergyManager pro. Remote access to the EnergyManager pro does not work reliably. No connection is established for approx. 50% of requests (error 500). Note: A new connection attempt at intervals of 20-30 minutes is successful in many cases. The problem has been resolved.

13.03.2024: Failure of remote access to SOLARWATT EnergyManager pro. Remote access from the Installer Center to EnergyManager pro devices is currently not possible. The restriction is expected to remain in place until 03/14/2024.

Dear Manager users,

Conversion of the Manager flex software is progressing

At the end of May, we announced that there would be a series of further updates to the Manager flex software. We have currently introduced various new features and some improvements. At this point, we would like to take a closer look at some of the important changes.

measurement and control

If incompatible inverters are used or if communication between the Manager and the inverter is disrupted for other reasons, the yields from the PV plants are not transmitted or are transmitted incorrectly. Selected Shelly meters (Shelly EM, 3EM and Pro3EM) can now be used to reliably determine the yields.

Not all components integrated into the energy system via the Sunspec protocol transmit working values for the electricity meters. If the manufacturer has not provided for this, the energy values are now calculated on the basis of the output.

integration of devices

The Manager flex now supports the integration of the Varta pulse neo. This means that home battery systems can also be retrofitted to existing systems. Please note that a separate meter such as the Shelly Pro 3EM is required at this point (see operating instructions)

The connection of my-PV heating elements with exchange head (AC ELWA E to AC ELWA 2 and conversion head AC ELWA E to AC ELWA 2) is also possible.

If the device search takes too long during setup, the process can be aborted with a new button. This saves unnecessary waiting times during installation.

improvements in the Manager portal

The software updates have significantly increased the reliability of remote access. Meters are now reliably displayed in the selection list for use with the inverter. Previously, the corresponding page often had to be reloaded after successful installation. Deleted Battery flex batteries are also automatically found again in the device list.

The conversion of the Manager flex software will also continue in the coming weeks. With the next update, we will, among other things, readjust the minimum runtimes for devices and thus fix a bug that affects some systems. The update is intended to prevent frequent switching on and off in changeable sunlight.
